Christina is a writer-director and artist. Her work explores the influence of digital dispositives on perception and knowledge. She is interested in experimental, poetic forms of narration with an inclination towards interactivity and develops new strategies for documentation. She is a film curator for the Kassel Video and Documentary Film Festival, conducts research in an SNF Ambizione research project on possibilities of digital representation in the realm of archival collections, and teaches in the Master Film programme at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. She lives with her family in Gelterkinden (BL), near Basel.

Christina studied Fine Arts and German Studies in Kassel and Granada, as well as Film/Television at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. In 2016 she completed her practice-based doctorate on "Ambiguity in Contemporary Film" at the Bauhaus University Weimar (summa cum laude). She has an international teaching career at film and art schools. She regularly presents her findings in lectures and at conferences. Interdisciplinary work plays a major role in her research as well as in her artistic work. She is currently developing an interactive VR film about the film theorist, sociologist and writer Siegfried Kracauer with Mira Film (Basel/Zurich) and INVR.SPACE (Berlin).
